This is a life changing book. It's a breakthrough piece of information that makes us rethink all we thought we knew about food. The food pyramid is a misleading guide that has been designed to "tolerate" bad eating habits, simply because it seems too hard to change them. But Dr. Fuhrman guides us through a complete and comprehensive plan for conquering optimal health and longevity by adjusting our eating to our bodies' needs.
Highly recomended.

This book is dear to my heart. I think that Dr Fuhrman has written a book that not only is backed up by science, it is a method of eating that can be maintained for the rest of my life. Anyone who does not read this book and take it seriously is doing themselves a great injustice.

I have to say that this book changed my life. Seriously -- I lost 40 pounds in two months, lost most of my allergies and feel fantastic. I won't lie -- the diet is tough at first... but after about the second week, you feel so fantastic that you won't look back. This isn't a "diet" in the sense that it's something you do for a while -- this book will get you to look at food and nutrition in such a different way that you'll never eat the same way again. Everyone should read this book...
