ASTRONOMICAL OCCURRENCES. THE MOON is near Mars during the morning hours of the 23rd and 24th being to his right on the former, and left of Mars on the latter day. She is situated to the right of Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus on the morning of the 25th, Jupiter being the furthest and Venus the nearest of the three planets. On the morning of the 26th she is to the left of the same planets, being nearest to Jupiter and furthest from Venus, the planets Saturn and Venus being near to each other; and she is near Mercury on the morning of the 20th.
