4 But 0! when that last conflict 's o'er,
And I am chained to flesh no more,
5 Soon shall I learn the exalted strains
Which echo o'er the heavenly plains;

Concert of Praise. Ps. 148. 1 BEGIN, my soul, the exalted lay, Let cach enraptured thought obey;
And praise the Almighty's name: Lo! heaven, and earth, and seas, and skies, In one melodious concert rise
To swell the inspiring theme.
Praise him who bids you roll;
And breathe it to the oul.
3 Wake, all ye soaring throngs, and sing, Ye cheerful warblers of the spring;
Harmonious anthems raise To him who shaped your finer mould, Who tipped your glittering wings with gold,
And tuned your voice to praise.
4 Let man, by nobler passions swayed, The feeling heart, the judging head,
In heavenly praise employ; Spread the Creator's name around, Till heaven's broad arch ring back the sound,
The general burst of joy.

Universal Praise. Ps. 148.
To praise the eternal God;
And sound his name abroad.
And moon with paler rays,
Shine to your Maker's praise.
And fixed their wondrous frame;
And ever speak his name.
Or fall in showers or snow,
His power and glory show.
Agree to praise the Lord,
To execute his word.
6 By all his works above
His honors be exprest;
Should sing his praises best.

All Creatures invoked to praise God. Ps. 148. 1 Praise the Lord! ye heavens, adore him;
Praise him, angels in the height; Sun and moon, rejoice before him;
Praise him, all ye stars of light! 2 Praise the Lord, for he hath spoken;
Worlds his mighty voice obeyed; Laws which never can be broken,
For their guidance he hath made. 3 Praise the Lord, for he is glorious;
Never shall his promise fail;
Sin and death shall not prevail. 4 Praise the God of our salvation,
Hosts on high his power proclaim;
Praise and magnify his name !

Exalt your Maker's fame;
Your voices raise,
To sing his praise. 2 Thou moon, that rul'st the night,
And sun, that guid'st the day,
His praise declare,
In liquid air.
And praise his holy name,
And all shall last
4 United zeal be shown,
His wondrous fame to raise.

WESLEY'S COL. David's Ascription of Praise. i Chron. 29: 10. 1 BlEst be our everlasting Lord,
Our Father, God and King! Thy sovereign goodness we record,
Thy glorious power we sing. 2 By thee the victory is given;
The majesty divine, And strength and might and earth and heaven,
And all therein, is thine. 3 The kingdom, Lord, is thine alone,
Who dost thy right maintain, And high on thy eternal throne
O'er men and angels reign.
Thou dost and honor give;
Out of thy hand receive.
