a These things I have spoken unto you, That in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world, John xvi. 33. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus, and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you : as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you, xx. 19-21. Speak unto Aaron, Ye have heard how I said unto you, and unto his sons, saying, On this go away, band come again unto you, wise ye shall bless the children of Is-said, I go unto the Father: for my If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because rael, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee; The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace, Psal. xxix. 11. c But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God, 1 Cor. xi. 3. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power, xv. 24. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all, 28. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faith ful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. And be shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness, Mal. iii. 3. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope; And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us,
