This bookplate was This bookplate carries one's thoughts far out to deep salt water. It was used in the 1913 "Lucky Bag," the student annual at the Academy. In the bookplate of the Makio, 1911, the ribbon bearing the inscription signifies that indefinable something called "my college," containing in its make-up the commonplace round of daily work, as expressed by the sun-dial, and the friendships and associations of college life, expressed by the words of "Auld Lang Syne" completely filling the space around the dial.
