LORD, rebuke me not in thine Anger, neither (a) CHASTEN me in thy Difpleafure: Have Mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak, and my Soul is alfo fore vexed; but thou, O Lord, how long? Return, O Lord, deliver my Soul; O fave me for thy Mercies fake; for in Death (b) there is no Remembrance of thee, or in the Grave who fhall give thee Thanks? I am weary of my Groaning, all the Night make I my Bed to fwim: (c) But thou, O Lord, wilt hear the Voice of my Weeping, thou wilt hear my Supplications, and receive my Prayer.
