The average degrees of temperature, as noted at eight A. M. are 42 one-third; thofe of the correfponding month in 1806, were 43 24-30; and that of 1805, 42 14-15. -The quantity of rain fallen this month is 49-100ths; that of the correfponding month in 1806, was 1 inch 29-100ths'; in 1803, 2 inches 78-100ths; in 1804, 3 inches, 27-100ths; and in 1803, 1 inch 80-100ths. Notwithstanding 13 days of falling weather, yet the aggregate quantity of rain, hail, and fnow, is much less than fell in the fame month in the four preceding years.-Progrefs of Vegetation. Apricots have attained the fize of nutmegs; peaches and nectarines the fize of peas; the Siberian crabbs are in full bloom; peafe bloffoms mostly fallen; tulips are coming inte flower; the white broom is fully blown; apple bloffoms begin to open; and cowilips have decorated our fields fince the middle of the month; afparagus is rather plentiful.
