Read this book.......very light read - somewhat of a gradeschool level. Found it to have several pro-Serbian views of the war if you read between the lines. Found it to also to be mostly an ongoing drawn out tale about a set of fraternal twins with a sprinkling of Mara's life. If Mrs. Vitorovich wanted to write a tale about her husband and his brother, she should have just done that - not implied this book to be about the journey of a Christian woman - I know I wouldn't have purchased it.
I am a graduate of Columbia Union College, and have found no record of Ann Vitorovich as ever being there (I researched her birth name to be Bernich). I contacted the office and she's never been there...I guess "attended" must mean she may have walked around the campus grounds at some point. If she is not truthful about where she went to college - if she even went to any college - then how are we to believe anything in this book?
Very disappointing.
