LORD our Lord, how excellent is Thy

1 Thy / glory • al bove the heavens.

2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength, because of Thine | enemies || that Thou mightest still the enemy and the • a venger.

a) 3 When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy | fingers || the moon and the stars • which | Thou hast • ordained;

4 What is man, that Thou art | mindful of him? || and the son of man that Thou / visit · est | him?

5 For Thou hast made him a little lower | than the | angels | and hast crowned him with | glory. and | honour.

6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of Thy | hands || Thou hast put ( all · things | under · his feet:

7. All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts • of the field || the fowl of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth | through the paths of the seas.

PSALM XVI. PRESERVE ! me ; God || for in | Thee ·

do I my trust. 2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord || Thou l art | m•y | Lord :

3 My goodness extendeth (not to | Thee || but to the I saints that are · in

the earth,

4 And to the excellent || in / whom . is all • my de | light.

5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup || Thou maintain • est | moy | lot.

6 'The lines are fallen unto me in | plea • sant | places || yea, I have a good • ly! heritage.

7 I will bless the Lord, who hath | given me / counsel || my reins also in struct. me! in the night | seasons.

8 I have set the Lord I always • before me ll, because He is at my right hand |I. shall not · be moved.

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory. rejoiceth || my flesh | also · shall rest in hope.

10 For Thou wilt not leave my soul • in hell || neither wilt Thou suffer Thine Holy One " to see · cor | ruption.

11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life || in Thy | presence is fulness of joy ;

2 Day unto day | utter .eth / speech || and night unto | ni.ght / shew.eth s knowledge.

3 There is no speech • nor / language where their / voi ce is • not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth || and their | words • to the end of the world.

5 In them hath He set a tabernacle for • the / sun || which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong | man .to | runa race.

6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it || and there is nothing | hid from the heat · there of.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, con / verting the soul || the testimony of the Lord is sure · making | wise the simple.

8 The statutes of the Lord are right, re! joicing the heart || the commandment of the Lord is./ pure · en| lightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, en (during • for | ever || the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous / al · to gether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much. fine gold || sweeter also than | honey · and the ho. ney | comb.

11 Moreover, by them is Thy | ser vant warned || and in keeping of them I there . is great ' re | ward.

12 Who can under / stand his errors? || cleanse Thou / me · from secret | faults.

13 Keep back Thy servant also from pre sumptuous | sins || let them not have do minion over me:

6 This is the generation of them that seek Him || that | seek • thy | face o Jacob.

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye ever i lasting | doors || and the King of glory | shall come | in.

8 Who is this King of | glory? || The Lord strong and mighty, the | Lord / mighty · in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, Oye gates ; even lift them up, ye ever | last · ing | doors || and the King of glory shall • come in.

10 Who is this | King of | glory? || The Lord of Hosts | He is the King of glory.

PSALM XXV.

do ! soul || O my God. I trust · in Thee: 2 Let me | not be a shamed || let not mine enemies | triumph | over / me.

3 Yea, let none that wait on | Thee. be a shamed || let them be ashamed which trans gress with | out | cause.

4 Shew me Thy I ways. o| Lord || teach | me | Thy | paths.

5 Leadme in Thy | truth and | teach me || for Thou art the God of my salvation; on Thee do I | wa • it | all the day.

6 Remember, O Lord, Thy tender mercies and Thy I lov.ing | kindnesses || for | they have been ever of old.
