22 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord and let all flesh bless His holy | name for ever and ever. 926 ISAIAH IX., XI., XII. LORD, Thou art my God || I will exalt Thee I will praise Thy | name; 2 For Thou hast done wonderful things || Thy counsels of old are | faith ful ness and truth. 3 For Thou hast been a | strength to the poor || a strength to the needy in his distress; 4 A refuge from the storm, a shadow | from the heat || when the blast of the terrible ones is as storm against the wall. 5 And in this mountain shall the Lord of Hosts make unto all | people || a | feast ⚫ of fa f| t❘ things; 6 And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people and the veil that is spread over a 11 nations. 7 He will swallow up death in | victory || and the Lord God will wipe away | tears from off all faces; 8 And the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth || for the Lord hath spoken | it. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo this is our God || we have waited for Him and He will save us: 10 This is the Lord; we have waited. for Him we will be glad and re | joice in His salvation. 11 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah | we have a strong city: salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. 12 Open ye the gates || that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may | en ter in. 13 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee | be | cause he trusteth in | Thee. 14 Trust ye in the Lord for | ever || for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting | strength. 15 Lord, Thou wilt ordain | peace for | នង ខ us for Thou also hast wrought | all · our | works in us. 16 O Lord our God, other lords beside Thee have had dominion over | us || but by Thee only will we make | mention of Thy name. THE everlasting God, the Lord, the Crea tor of the ends of the earth, fainteth not neither is weary || there is no searching of His un · der standing. 2 He giveth | power to the faint || and to them that have no might He in | creas eth strength. 3 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly | fall but they that wait upon the Lord | shall renew their | strength; faint. as They shall mount up with wings eagles they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not 5 Fear thou not; for I am with thee be not dismayed; for I am · God: thy 6 I will strengthen thee; yea | I will help theeyea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 7 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none || and their | tongue | faileth for thirst, 8 I the Lord will hear them || I the God of Israel will not for sake them. 9 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not I will lead them in [ paths that they have not known. |
