We need not say that we are glad to hear from "L. S. S."

The conclusion of "The Astrologer," without fail next month. Accident alone prevented it from being finished in the present Number.

The long-promised article from "MR. D." reached us at so late a period-in fact nearly six weeks after the time that it ought to have arrived-that it was impossible for us, without most undue sacrifices, wholly to meet his wishes this month.

A further continuation of “ Wanderings in the Land of Hafiz" has been duly received, with, as will be seen by the author of that interesting narrative, other acceptable favours from the same quarter.

"The Chamois Hunter, from the German," probably in our next; but we seem to have various articles before us claiming precedence of insertion.

"Sketches from my Diary, No. III.," stands one of the earliest communications upon our list. We hope to hear again, in the course of the month, from its fair author. We are fearful respecting the practicability of effecting the wishes of our kind friend, "C. H.," on one point; but, if we fail, it shall not be through want of effect. second request, we answer- -" Certainly."
