O BE JOYFUL IN THE LORD.

O be joyful in the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness, and come before his presence with a song.

Be ye sure that the Lord he is God, it is he that hath made us and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

O go your way into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and speak good of his name.

For the Lord is gracious, his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth from generation to generation. Amen.

BLESSED BE THE LORD.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people;

And hath raised up a mighty salvation for us in the house of his servant David.

As he spake by the mouth of his holy Prophets, which have been since the world began;

That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us.

Amen.

4 O SING Unto the Lord.

O sing unto the Lord a new song, for he hath done marvellous things.

With his own right hand, and with his holy arm, hath he gotten himself the victory.

The Lord declared his salvation; his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

He hath remembered his mercy and truth toward

the house of Israel, and all the ends of the

world have seen the salvation of our God.

Show yourselves joyful unto the Lord, all ye lands;

sing, rejoice, and give thanks.

Praise the Lord upon the harp; sing to the harp with a psalm of thanksgiving.

Amen.

5 PRAISE THE LORD, O MY SOUL.

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, praise his holy name.

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his

benefits,

Who forgiveth all thy sin, and healeth all thine in

firmities,

Who saveth thy life from destruction, and crowneth

thee with mercy and loving kindness.

Amen.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the

days of my

life; and I will dwell in the house

of the Lord for ever.

Amen.

I WILL LIFT UP MINE EYES.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold he that keepeth Israel shall not slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for

ever more.

Amen.
